Location: Home-working & community-based
Salary: £26,403 – £28,142 per year (pro rata) + 8.5% pension contribution and staff benefits (health cash plan, life assurance and learning & development financial allocation)
Hours: 21 hours per week (flexibility in the fulfilment of hours and applications for part-time and job share will be considered)
Leave: 28 days annual leave (pro rata) + bank holidays and a wellbeing day
Contract: Two-year fixed term – with a possible extension dependent on funding (all satisfactory to a six-month probationary review)
As Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Beyond Empower’s day-to-day operations.
ou will provide high-quality administrative, organisational and communication support across the organisation — from keeping records accurate and up to date, to coordinating enquiries, supporting board meetings, assisting with financial and promotional administration, and contributing to efficient back-office systems.
The role is naturally varied and provides opportunities to get involved in different aspects of our work, making it an interesting and engaging position for someone who enjoys learning new skills and adapting to new tasks.
You will work closely with the Managing Director, supporting their day-to-day activities including diary coordination, preparing documents and maintaining effective information flows. You will also support the wider team through organising meetings and events, updating digital systems, maintaining our website and mailing lists, and helping coordinate and schedule social media and promotional activities that showcase our work.
You will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and confidence working with digital systems, spreadsheets and communication tools. You’ll be someone who can manage multiple priorities calmly, communicate well with diverse people, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
